for ourselves alone dies with us. What we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal –therein lies true
Glory.”

All gave some and some
gave all
And some stood through for the red, white and blue
And some had to fall
And if you ever think of me
Think of all your liberties and recall
Some gave all
And if you ever think of me
Think of all your liberties and recall,
Some gave all. Billy Ray Cyrus

“Those who give up
essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Benjamin Franklin
The Lady of Liberty’s eyes gaze imploringly heavenward in the direction of Freedom’s Torch—is it truly still there and still lit, or does the tear on her cheek speak profoundly of a prospect yet to be revealed?

James Muir is one of the most prolific sculptors of our day, and in my opinion the most relevant. All of his work captures the
true spirit of the struggle for freedom and liberty, and it's cost. He offers memorials and tributes to all of those who served
and have fallen, in pursuit of this quest. His sculptures are a study in historical, military and allegorical art, and all evoke
intense emotions, both good and bad. But after all, what is art without controversy? Impressionism, Pointillism, Surrealism,
Abstract, all of these caused a great deal of controversy in their time, and are still doing so today. Art and sculpture need to
"speak" to people and James' speaks volumes. Being a vet myself, I greatly appreciate what he is doing to memorialize the "price
of eternal vigilance".
I regret having to part with James' tributes, but circumstances being what they are, I have to and all of the sculptures on this site are for sale. I don't really need the money, it's more of a personal decision. If you are interested in purchasing any of the pieces on this site, drop me a line and let me know. Please, serious inquiries only
